Welcome to the website of Arizona Retriever Rescue (AZRR), a 501(c)3 Corporation.  AZRR was founded January 1, 2006 with the primary purpose of rescuing and re-homing Golden and Flatcoat Retrievers in the State of Arizona.

The mission of AZRR is to provide veterinary care, comprehensive evaluation and adoptive homes to Golden and Flatcoat Retrievers who are abandoned, mistreated, neglected or left in pounds throughout the state of Arizona.

If needed, AZRR may also address the needs of Curly Coated Retrievers, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers.

Whether you are looking to adopt, foster, or to surrender a Retriever or to volunteer or become a member, you may click the links to the left to find out more or contact us at 480-946-8704.

Help us help them please... many of our rescues come out of the hot shelters in the summertime!  Find out more about how you can help by FOSTERING!

If you are interested in making a donation to Arizona Retriever Rescue you may send it to the address listed at the top of this page or contact us by phone for a credit card donation or PayPal! (see link at left for Donations).

In a dog's eyes, we are his everything.  In a dog's life, the most important thing is love, food, shelter, water and more love.  Can you help by fostering?  Would you love to have a loved one see you as the most important thing they ever knew?  Click on Fostering above, or Adoption and learn how.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you; that is the principal difference between a dog and a man.
