Events are a crucial part of rescue. This is where we educate people about how rescue "works", find very important foster homes and adoptive families, educate people about pet ownership, gather funding, network with people who have the same passions and acquire new members. Join us in this worthy mission and have some fun too! One of the many ways we gain adoptive or foster homes is to attend events in the Valley. We welcome you to join us with your fur child. They bring much needed love to those looking for another companion, as well as educate people on the need for rescue. PET ADOPT-A-THON Join us with your pet and people friendly retriever. This is a great event to meet and greet people and educate others about rescue and perhaps obtain MUCH NEEDED foster homes and adoptive homes. PACC911 will host over 60 local animal rescue groups who will have lots of pets needing new forever homes. There will be a raffle, silent auction and dog wash. Bring an unopened bag of pet food for a free raffle ticket. Also, microchipping is available. All proceeds from the raffle goes to benefit our group and each rescue group needing assistance with medical costs. GREAT event, come join us! Blessings will be at Noon and 2 p.m. NOVEMBER 2009

KPMG ADOPT-A-THON AT MESA RIVERVIEW MALL
Foster families PLEASE bring out your dog so they can meet potential families. If you can’t come yourself maybe another member could bring your foster fur kid out for the event.

WOOFSTOCK - The
Great Chandler Dog Walk
Chandler
offers a special free community event for the entire family – adults, kids
... and dogs! Bring your well-mannered dog out to enjoy a day of fun with
other dog lovers and their K-9 friends. Bring the entire family out for a
day of tail wagging activities: Great Chandler Dog Walk Concert for
Critters, Pet Contests, Raffle Prizes, Interactive Demonstrations, Dog
Massages, Pet Psychic, Mini Bark Park and Other pet-friendly vendors. Dogs
on leashes are welcome to join the fun! Woofstock is the recipient of the
2009 Outstanding Community Special Event presented by the Arizona Parks and
Recreation Association.
