BOOKMARK GOOD SEARCH.COM
Everyone does an internet search...  remember each time you search for something on the internet our rescue gets a percentage!  It's an easy set up, and takes no time at all!  Remember, Arizona Retriever Rescue with each search!

DO YOU SHOP AT BASHAS???  Each September through march, Bashas has the Thanks a Million Program which will provide non-profits % of your purchase to our group.  Just link your card to program AZRR's ID:  24350

MAKE A DONATION to the address above!  Share your birthday by having friends or family make a donation in your honor for your birthday or special event... or just because you believe in what we are doing! Make a GIFT OF A MEMBERSHIP to a friend, loved one or co-workers.  Make a New Year's resolution to donate a small amount monthly to AZRR; you'll probably not miss $5 - $10 per month and it will add up over the course of the year.

DONATE RED LEASHES AND COLLARS, DOG TOYS, BEDS, LARGE OR EXTRA LARGE DOG CRATES OR EXERCISE PENS!  Each dog that is brought in will receive a collar and leash, so your donation will be a direct contact with a dog in rescue!  Beds can be donated for the old timers who need a soft spot to lay.  Crates and exercise pens can be used to help the younger dogs keep themselves out of trouble when people are away.  And toys?  That goes without saying that every retriever needs a toy or two!

FOSTER A DOG This is an integral part of what we do, come join in, you'll never be sorry!

VOLUNTEER TO HELP (There are many types of volunteer duties available such as: phone assistance, fostering, home visit, intake, adoption, helping dogs get to vets, looking for events for us to attend for educational purposes, fundraising team, taking pictures, and much more!)  We can't do it without you!  Click on the words Volunteer to Help and it will transport you to the Volunteer Page.

JOIN US IN OUR EDUCATIONAL EVENTS!  Learn about what our organization's goals are and TALK TO PEOPLE!  You'd be surprised how many people do not know that rescue exists!  This could be a life-saver for a dog sent to the pound, or you could meet new friends who believe in the common goal.

GOT STUFF?  We are always on the look for merchandise we can use in raffles or auctions!  Think about purchasing a second item when you find something doggie related, keep one for yourself and donate the other for the common goal!

DO YOU FEED YOUR PETS NATURAL BALANCE?  If you do, save your barcodes and receipts and send them in to AZRR!  Natural Balance has a program to provide % of your purchase to us!!!  (mail to PO Box above)

MATCHING GIFT OR GRANT PROGRAM. Check with your employer to see if they have a program.  Contact our Treasurer by email at:  treasurer@azrr.org to work out the details.

ENCOURAGE ANYONE YOU KNOW who might consider making a dog part of their family to contact a Rescue organization in their area instead of purchasing a puppy from a pet store.

DONATE COMPUTER ITEMS. We are always in need of computer items that will help our volunteers do the work.  Digital cameras with software, Laptop computers, computers, CD/DVD writer, color printer, etc.

Contact us for more information.  Email us at:  questions@azrr.org

Have your dog be as much a part of your family life as possible.  Do all you can to keep him inspired, stimulated, active, happy, healthy, and comfortable.

Retrievers are dogs that need and enjoy the company of people, they need things to do, and they need an active life.

Do your best to help them be the dog they are meant to be.  Many retrievers train for certificates for Therapy work to meet and greet hospital patients, senior citizen centers and children's hospitals.

Other retrievers train for agility, obedience or flyball activities.  Find out what your retriever enjoys and go for the gold!
